As the web communications specialist, Aldi manages CEE's website development and upkeep together with 3rd party partners, including assisting in the development and testing of new websites for CEE.

Aldi joined CEE after having previously worked at Brewers Supply Group as the front end developer and web coordinator. Aldi graduated from Minneapolis Community and Technical College with an associate's degree in graphic and web design before continuing his education and graduating with a BA in computer information systems from Metropolitan State University.

He is an active member of Minnesota Indonesia Society where his mother currently serves as a board member.

As the HVAC market development manager on the Market Transformation team, Jordyn works to accelerate the adoption of energy-efficient products with a focus on residential ASHPs and commercial heat pump RTUs. She manages this effort by developing industry partnerships, working collaboratively with key market actors, and delivering product trainings for heat pump technologies.

Jordyn joined CEE in 2023 after working as a product manager in transport refrigeration, where she focused on electrified product development and market adoption of clean technology. Prior to this role, she completed a rotational program within both transport refrigeration and commercial HVAC, where she held both engineering and product management positions. She holds a BE in electrical engineering from Vanderbilt University.

As a senior auditor trainer for CEE's residential programs, Angeline inspects homes to assess insulation levels, air tightness, and combustion appliances to identify ways that homeowners can make their homes safer and more energy efficient.

As a senior research scientist at the CEE, Josh works on grid modernization efforts including strategic electrification, solar energy deployment optimization, and using efficiency and other DERs to manage distribution system capacity. His recent work includes HVAC duct leakage and retrofit sealing, condensing boiler efficiency, energy recovery ventilation systems, garage contaminant transport, and residential furnace efficiency retrofits.

Josh has over thirteen years of research experience in solar energy, heat and mass transfer, and energy efficiency. Prior to CEE, Josh spent time researching thermochemical storage cycles at ZAE Bayern outside Munich Germany and the Solar Energy Lab at the University of Minnesota. Josh obtained his master’s degree (2008) and PhD (2012) in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota.

As a lighting consultant for the One-Stop Efficiency, Mark builds constructive industry relationships to stay abreast of the latest lighting and controls technologies and educates vendors and business owners on practical, energy efficient lighting solutions.

An energy efficiency veteran since 2008, Mark has helped thousands of businesses save on operating costs by optimizing and retrofitting existing equipment. He holds a bachelor’s of applied science from the University of Minnesota Duluth and an MBA with emphasis in finance and strategic management from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota.

Daniel’s academic studies focused on alternative energy technologies and renewable energy systems. After working as a researcher in a Net Zero Energy Research Laboratory in undergrad, he continued to pursue a career in HVAC. Daniel values giving back to the community and contributing to building a greener world. 

Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a senior product development engineer in the Commercial Rooftop HVAC Industry. He holds a BS in mechanical and energy engineering from the University of North Texas and a MS in mechanical engineering from Colorado School of Mines. He has worked on projects for Trane, Lennox International, and Daikin. 

Daniel also holds a Project Management Professional certification and volunteers for an AHRI working group. 

As an energy advisor, Mike works directly with customers to review their home audit report, evaluate possible rebates, and connect them to contractors and financing options. CEE's Energy Advising service aims to be a friendly advocate that homeowners can turn to with questions as they work to make their homes more efficient and comfortable.

Mike graduated from the University of Minnesota with a BS in environmental science, policy, and management with an emphasis on resource management. As a member of the Conservation Corps, he worked as a member of the Home Energy Squad before joining the Neighborhood Energy Connection prior to its 2017 merger with CEE.

Based in Colorado Springs, Gabrielle is responsible for the implementation and delivery of programs and pilots in Colorado. As a member of the Program Development team, she also supports business development opportunities in the state.

Prior to joining CEE in 2022, Gabrielle gained twelve years of experience in the energy efficiency consulting and utility industries. Gabrielle has held positions at CLEAResult, Consumers Energy, and Black Hills Energy. She specializes in program management, customer experience, communications, income-qualified energy efficiency and assistance programs.

The catalyst for her career was a human-service internship at a non-profit neighborhood center, while earning her BA in psychology from Michigan State University.

As the senior marketing manager, Ashley leads the marketing team and is responsible for all the needs of CEE and its various programs, departments, and clients. Under her direction, participation and engagement in programs have steadily surpassed goals, and her work has contributed to a variety of award-winning programs.

Ashley has been with CEE since 2009. She oversees all of CEE’s graphic material production and serves as brand manager for the organization. She has served in many marketing roles with the organization and started as a community organizer. During her time as community organizer, she worked with communities across the state of Minnesota and gave presentations to more than 6,000 residents.

Ashley has a BS in public relations from St Cloud State University.

As an outreach specialist, Gerardo assists with increasing awareness of and participation in CEE's residential programs by building relationships and conducting community-based marketing. 

Prior to CEE, Gerardo worked in graphic design and sales marketing centered around the Spanish-speaking communities of the Twins Cities, He also volunteered in electoral campaigns. 

Gerardo holds an associate’s degree in graphic design from Dakota County Technical College, and is working on furthering his education with a degree in marketing from Concordia University-Saint Paul. 

Adam's career in engineering spans over 15 years, with a significant portion of that time spent at Franklin Energy before joining CEE. His expertise in the field includes quantifying energy use, conducting energy audits, and contributing to TRM (Technical Reference Manual) development efforts. In addition, Adam has experience leading engineering teams, supporting program design, evaluation review, and portfolio budget planning. 

He received his BS in mechanical engineering at the University of Iowa and he also served as education chair for the ASHRAE YEA Chicago chapter from 2013-2015 and organized several educational conference events.

Scott works remotely from Crosby, MN providing northern Minnesota with energy audits, HERS ratings, code compliance testing & consulting builders and homeowners in ways their homes can be more efficient, saving energy and money while ensuring their homes are resilient, durable and safe. 

Scott is also an avid outdoorsperson and accomplished landscape photographer. He is often found on a hiking trail, in his kayak or snowboarding with his family. He is an active member of Protect Our Winters, helping to protect & advocate for the places we love from the worst effects from climate change.

As technical editor, Allison edits and proofreads CEE's digital and print communications, from research and proposals to website copy and marketing material. She also contributes to content strategy and development, including writing for CEE's blog and newsletters. 

Before joining CEE, Allison worked as a writer and editor in academic, nonprofit, and agency settings. Allison received a BA in English and philosophy from St. Olaf College and also holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from the University of San Francisco.

Jett works at CEE as building energy consultant. He previously worked at Willdan as a verification specialist, where he helped develop and implement FirstEnergy's Commercial New Construction incentive program in Pennsylvania. He attended the University of Minnesota, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. 

Jett also serves on the Electronic Communications and Chapter Technology Transfer committees for the Minnesota Chapter of ASHRAE. He is certified as a LEED AP in Building Design and Construction as well as an Engineer in Training in the State of Minnesota.

Claire works at CEE as commercial construction outreach specialist for the Luminaire Level Lighting Controls Initiative. Claire's responsibilities include engaging and building relationships with market stakeholders to accelerate LLLC adoption in the commercial construction market. She previously worked in the University of Minnesota's Office for Supplier Diversity, helping small and disadvantaged architects, constructors, and engineers integrate into the U of MN's supply chain and grow their business.

Claire has a BA in communication studies from Western Kentucky University, where she translated a passion for forging business relationships inspired from her grandfather, a small business owner, into a profession. She is involved with the American Institute of Architecture's Minnesota Design Team, and serves as a Committeeperson on the Economic Development Association of Minnesota's Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

Before joining CEE as a research analyst, Jaimi was busy as a stagehand and carpenter at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. They also have experience in media production and organizing, having orchestrated large-scale outreach campaigns for leftist political gains across the Twin Cities.

Jaimi earned a BA in theater and performance studies and a BS in engineering with a concentration in architectural design from Stanford University, where they contributed to physics research and development for LIGO Voyager. Their work aimed at improving the cooldown times of cryocooled gravitational-wave interferometers showcased a 3.5-fold reduction in total wait time. This technique's scalability and engineering simplicity now position it as a valuable asset for future interferometer cryogenic designs. Jaimi holds a deep commitment to developing new technology to better our world and brings a dynamic blend of creativity and technical expertise to problem-solving. They are excited to work with CEE to build a more sustainable future.

As the IT operations manager at CEE, Mike oversees the TechOps team, which includes systems administrators, Help Desk staff, and a technology adoption specialist, ensuring smooth operation of both cloud and local systems. He also manages technical operations, lead security initiatives, and implement training and resource strategies while safeguarding sensitive client data.

Mike joined CEE in 2024, bringing with him over two decades of experience in IT operations and management. Before that, he held senior leadership positions at companies such as Dish Wireless and Shutterfly, where he oversaw large-scale data center and network operations. In the early 2000s, Mike worked as director of information technologies at General Mills, where he led critical infrastructure and security projects. Later, he oversaw the NOC, Help Desk, and Data Centers for Lifetouch with a focus on deploying cutting-edge technology, optimizing IT processes, and ensuring data security.

Mike has also previously held certifications in Cisco and HP Networking, Microsoft Server Technologies, and VOIP Technologies, as well as various certs in IT infrastructure monitoring and desktop applications.

As the director of research, Ben directs CEE’s research activities. Ben leads a team of expert researchers with a wide variety of expertise in building science, energy efficiency, and decarbonization. Under Ben’s direction, the team conducts research across building sectors and technologies supporting the development of innovative technologies, conducting applied research, and providing technical support for program development, market transformation, and policy work.

Ben has more than fifteen years of experience in energy efficiency and building decarbonization. He has been a senior research and principle investigator on research projects funded by Minnesota Department of Commerce, DOE’s Building Technology Office, and several utility partners. Ben’s areas of focus include water heater performance, service water heating, and residential HVAC systems.

Ben has been with CEE since 2008. Ben has a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota and a bachelor’s degree in physics from St. John’s University.
