Minnesota’s Efficient Technology Accelerator (ETA) is a statewide market transformation program that accelerates deployment and reduces the cost of emerging and innovative efficient technologies, bringing lower energy bills and environmental benefits to all Minnesotans.
ETA is starting with four promising technologies: air source heat pumps, luminaire-level lighting controls, high-performance windows, and high-performance rooftop units. We collaborate with electric and gas utilities, state and local governments, manufacturers, distributors, and installation contractors — all working together to speed up adoption by overcoming barriers to these new technologies and quicken adoption.
Funded by investor-owned utilities and administered by the Minnesota Department of Commerce, Division of Energy Resources, Minnesota’s ETA is implemented by the nonprofit Center for Energy and Environment.
