Loan Staff

In his role at CEE, Jim has worked extensively in administering, underwriting, and managing CEE’s home improvement financing programs in the residential, commercial, and nonprofit sectors. This includes working with Minnesota Housing Finance Agency, Minnesota Department of Commerce, and multiple municipalities throughout Minnesota to rehabilitate and promote energy efficiency to existing residential and commercial properties.

Jim joined CEE in 1994. He has a BS in business administration from the State University of New York at Oswego.

As the lending manager for CEE's Lending Center, Brenda underwrites loans and customizes CEE's residential financing packages giving Minnesota homeowners the comfort and flexibility needed when making important home investment decisions.

Brenda has been with CEE since 1998.

As a loan officer at CEE, DeShaun is responsible for processing home improvement financing applications for the Lending Center. This position provides core support to participants of the Lending Center.

Before CEE, DeShaun had various roles in lending and sales with companies such as Wells Fargo, Ideal Credit Union, and Employees First Credit Union. He is pursuing a BA in business from Metropolitan State University and received his AS in business from Minneapolis Community College. DeShaun also volunteers with Hennepin County Mentors for Success.

As a loan officer at CEE, Ranti is responsible for processing home improvement financing applications for the Lending Center. This position provides core support to participants of the Lending Center.

Ranti has lending experience from her past work at Wells Fargo as a personal banker and loan officer, as well as her experience as an underwriter at Highland Bank and Symphony Bank. Ranti has a degree in catering and hotel management. 

LeAnne joined the Neighborhood Energy Connection as a loan manager in 2004, before the organization merged with CEE in 2017. For nine years prior, she was the loan manager for another local nonprofit. She has over 30 years of experience helping lend tens of millions of dollars to Minnesota homeowners for home improvement projects.

As the Loan Services Manager, Cristina supports the CEE lending department by managing the loan closing department, disbursing loan funds, making payments to contractors, and coordinating closing documents and monthly reporting to program partners and agencies.

Cristina, a native of Quito, Ecuador, has been with CEE since 2007.

As the loan servicing manager, Marco developed and launched the Lending Center’s in-house loan servicing department to respond to the organization's current and future needs in the lending area.

Marco came to CEE with nearly 12 years of experience in the mortgage industry, working for two of the top 20 loan servicing companies nationwide at the time, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and Ditech Financial; He has extensive experience in several areas of Loan Servicing including Escrow, Customer Service, Collections, Loan Transfers and Payment Processing.

Jackie works in CEE's Lending Center as post closing specialist assisting with loan services.

She has a long career in the lending industry and is familiar with the many stages of residential lending.

As the loan servicing processor, Lecam is responsible for setting up and maintaining loan accounts including processing payments, generating reports, and preparing billing statements, payoffs, satisfactions, and subordinations.

Lecam joined CEE in August 2017. She graduated from Hamline University with a BA in English with minors in business administration and Chinese. Prior to joining CEE, she worked with nonprofits including the Minnesota Literacy Council, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Mercy International Mission, and Heart of Dance.

As a loan officer at CEE, Sadie is responsible for processing home improvement financing applications for the Lending Center. This position provides core support to participants of the Lending Center.

Prior to CEE, Sadie started her career at a large financial institution starting as a teller, and working up to a personal banker helping homeowners achieve their financial goals and facilitating home equity loans, as well as spending some time working in commercial lending. Sadie attended college at Central Lake College majoring in computer repair with a minor in interpersonal communication.
