Mark developed protocols and conducted assessments for indoor air quality issues, moisture intrusion, building defects, building operations and maintenance practices, building controls, as well as provided building commissioning and retro-commissioning services.
Mark has over 20 years of experience working in multifamily buildings and has performed assessments on over 1,500 buildings. In that time, he has been responsible for designing, coordinating, and completing commercial and multifamily programs for CenterPoint Energy, Xcel Energy, the Wisconsin Energy Conservation Corporation, and other organizations and private clients.
In addition to his work in commercial buildings, Mark conducts lighting audits and post-installation quality control inspections for the One-Stop Efficiency Shop small business lighting program. He also trains building management, staff, and operators in both the public and private sector on correct operations and maintenance of buildings to increase occupant comfort and decrease energy consumption.
