Home Energy Loan Program

The Home Energy Loan Program is a statewide program that offers low interest loans to homeowners that want to make energy improvements to their properties. This program is only offered by CEE Financial Resources.

Home Enegy Loan Application - Complete the application and send it to CEE Financial Resources at 212 3rd Avenue North, Suite 560, Minneapolis, MN 55401.

Loan Terms

• Maximum loan amount is $10,000
• Interest rate 6.25% APR
• Maximum term 5 years
• All loans will be secured by a mortgage

Eligible Borrowers

• NO MAXIMUM ANNUAL HOUSEHOLD INCOME LIMIT
• Borrowers must own the property or be purchasing it through a mortgage or contract for deed

Proof of Income

• If you are employed submit copys of your two most recent paystubs.
• If you are retired submit a copy of your social security benefits or pension.
• If you are self-employed submit copies Federal Tax Returns for the last 2 years.

Eligible Improvements

• Improvements can include the following: windows * doors * furnace * boilers *
  air conditioning * insulation * water heaters
• Applicants must provide bids for each improvement project.

Eligible Structures

• Owner-occupied, 1-4 unit properties
• Up to 49% of the residence may be used for business
• Property must have been built prior to May 1, 1989
