2. Schedule a Community Energy Services Home Visit
Based on your home's needs and your decisions on what to do, our team of two experts will:
- Discuss with you how your home uses energy and how you can save money by using less energy in your home
- Install energy saving materials to improve your home's efficiency
- Preform a blower door test to measure your home for air leaks
- Complete an insulation inspection
- Preform a safety test of your home's heating system and water heater
- Create a personalized report with a summary of recommendations
- Help you find qualified insulation contractors, if needed
Based on your home's needs and your wants our crew can install:
- Door weatherstripping
- A water heater blanket
- Programmable thermostats
- Specialty compact fluorescent light bulbs (a-line, bathroom globe and indoor floodlight)
- High-efficiency water fixtures
