Providing Information

CEE is passionate about sharing knowledge and information with energy experts, from program managers to building operators.  By focusing on data-driven tools and innovative communication technologies, we encourage practitioners to explore lessons learned from CEE's nationally recognized research and programs.

Minnesota Energy Challenge

The Minnesota Energy Challenge is a free, online action guide to help Minnesotans reduce energy waste in their homes.  With more than 1,100 teams for schools, congregations, businesses, nonprofits and neighborhoods, the Minnesota Energy Challenge combines an online pledge with community organizing and education around energy efficiency and conservation.  Since launching in 2006, more than 28,000 Minnesotans have pledged to save more than $13 million in energy costs and reduce greenhouse gas emissions by more than 235 million pounds of CO2.

Policy

As a nonprofit, an integral part of CEE's mission is to foster public policies that strengthen the long-term economic and environmental interests of all Minnesotans.  We focus on saving energy, which remains the lowest cost and lowest impact way to meet Minnesota's future energy needs.
