May 17, 2012

CEE will premiere a traveling interactive public art project that demonstrates and celebrates the positive impact of bicycling in Minneapolis during Twin Cities Bike Walk Week, June 2nd - 10th.  Each day during Bike Walk Week, a bike counter will be installed at a surprise location along Minneapolis' popular bike routes to count all passing cyclists.  Then each evening from 9-10pm, CEE will project a real-time, interactive graphic on the side of various buildings and landmarks that totals the cumulative financial, environmental and health benefits from the cyclists that pass.  This is the first installation of its kind in the United States.

The first installation will be set up on Saturday, June 2nd at 9am on the West River Parkway bike path across from the Mill City Museum, located at 704 South 2nd Street in Minneapolis.
