The Latin phrase id est translates to “that is” or “in other words.” Its abbreviation, i.e., is also the initials of the Innovation Exchange. Here we’ll share insights and analysis about our research, programs, and other activities in energy efficiency.

Check back soon for the official launch of i.e. Over the next several months, we’ll examine how new lighting standards may impact efficiency programs, review the latest energy apps, look back at the history of CEE, and showcase our work developing visualization tools for energy data.

And a big thanks to the lighting maven herself, Jamie Fitzke, for the name inspiration!
